All Scratch and Dent motors carry the same lifetime
warranty for Manufacturing Defects as other Razor motors. Note, that the
replacement cost is still 50% of the price of a new (not scratch and dent)
motor.
Most defects are minor, like scratched cases, small dent/ding
(oops, we dropped it), shaft a little long/short (the way it was bonded to the
rotor), stripped mounting holes (oversized self tapping screws provided) etc.
The motor's performance is not affected in any way.
