Very high tech construction. Uses Magenesil .007 thick laminations (very expensive) to reduce no load current, and improve efficiency. Super Hard 2.3mm High Speed Steel Shaft

Don't be fooled by the lower Kv of these motors.
Because they are very inneficient, the cheap Chinese brushless motors have to have a higher Kv in order to produce the proper RPM under a heavy load. Their RPM drops considerably as the current is increased, while the Razor does not.

I must apologize for not acting like a large company to my customers.

Razor Motors is a single person operation. Because of this, I cannot turn around repairs as fast as I would like. It is also the reason that I have opted not to have any phone support, or pre-sales support. And for those that send me 6 emails a day, and get upset when they are not answered within minutes, I cannot respond like there is a support staff.

I believe that Razor Motors are the best motors in the world in their size/weight class, and that they speak for themselves. Just recently, a club president called me and told me that his club members will all trade and sell any other of the many brands of small motors that they own, but they hang on to their Razors like they were gold. It is rare to see them sold on ebay by users for that reason.

In addition to the normal small business issues, I have been diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. But, I am also the very first guinea pig in the world in an experimental treatment that has "stabilized" my disease. I have already lived longer than my prognosis by a year, and am enjoying pretty good health, and it apears that my treatment may offer an option for others (I have had no surgery, and the American Cancer Society says that no current treatment extends lifespan). Add to that, my ex-wife kidnapped my kids, and I have not seem then in several months, which has kind of sucked the life out of me. (if you want to see pictures of them, go to orme.org) Anyone that has been involved in a difficult legal situation knows that lawyers are black holes for money, and that legal and law enforcement issues take a great deal of time.

So, I ask that my customers bear with me through these difficult times. With your help, Razor Motors will continue to make the best brushless motors in the world.
